THANKSGIVING!!!

Sorry to not have posted for a while but I've been spending these last few days indulging in the joy of Thanksgiving dinner and leftovers :-)
This year I was blessed with being able to celebrate Thanksgiving FOUR TIMES!! Yup, that's right, four times I got to stuff my fat face with delicious food.
The first dinner was on Tuesday with my amazing roommate. She made us some double stuffed potatoes filled with broccoli and butter, thick juicy turkey, breaded broccoli, and cranberry sauce. Let's not forget the apple crisp for dessert and Martinelli's Sparkling Apple Cider!!! -- Probably my favorite drink in the world-- It was absolutely delicious.

The next celebration was more of a lunch that occurred Thursday morning with my boyfriend and his family over at La Cremaillere in Bedford, NY. This was place was great. The food was delicious, the decor classic and charming and exceptionally fancy. It was clearly a place for the rich and fabulous to delight in.

The third celebration was on Thursday night right after we got back from lunch with my boyfriend's family. We rushed home to my father's house to celebrate with him, my younger siblings, and my grandparents. Here we delighted ourselves in some sweet potatoes, sliced baked apples, breaded strings beans, corn bread, coleslaw and for dessert cookies and brownies. I was just about as stuffed as could be. Unfortunately I didn't get to take pictures of the food because we all ate it so fast :-)

The last celebration was by far the largest celebration I attended this week, which is usually the case when it comes to my mothers feasts. I was surrounded by family and friends with a guest list of about 17 people.  And boy did we feast! My mom made the best, and I mean THE BEST, turkey I have ever sunk my teeth into. It was so juicy and amazing, I was truly impressed. And it's no celebration with my mothers family unless there is the infamous Coquito, a Puerto Rican "eggnog" sort of drink made with condensed milk, coconut milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and the most important ingredient, Bacardi Rum White. Amamzing!!!
The food just never stopped coming!!
