January Favorites

I can't believe January is actually almost over... which means school is right around the corner :-( (yes I do start school super late idk why!) After spending the past week in DC visiting my boyfriend and all my lovely friends at AU I figured it was time to get back to reality and get focused!! But in the mean time I thought I would show you guys my favorite products from January.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink
I've tried dozens of eyeliners in the past from liquid, pencil, to gel, and I've found that gel liners seem to have the most lasting staying power and doesn't smudge. What I love about this eyeliner is that it has lasted longer than my MAC gel liner (which dried out after about a month) and has a smooth application. I've messed around with this product a bit and noticed that if you dampen you eyeliner brush just a bit it allows for a smoother precision and cleaner line.

Laura Mercier Undercover Pot #3
I got this product as part of the flawless face kit that Laura Mercier offers. I loved everything about that kit but I found that this product is the one I've been getting the most use of. I really love to use the concealer on the left for under my eyes.

NYC Brow/Eyeliner Pencil in Taupe

This has been my favorite brow pencil for years and the best part is that it only costs $1!! The only thing that annoys me about this product is that I have to sharpen it frequently, so make sure you have one handy.

Benefit Silky Powder Eyeshadow in Low Profile
This product was actually given to me a while back and I never really used it till a few months ago when I discovered that this makes an incredible base color. I apply this after I apply my eyeshadow primer to give an easy base that allows my eyeshadows to blend easily. It's also a great all over color when you're on the run.

Love & Beauty Nail Polish in Mauve
I've got to say, Love & Beauty nail polishes are pretty damn good for being only $2.80. I picked up this color a few weeks ago and have loved it ever since. It's a great nude color but be careful because it can easily wash out some skin tones. I like this color better when I'm a little tanner.

NARS Oil-Free Pro Prime Pore Refining Primer
This has been a recent addition to my everyday makeup regimen and to be honest, I have no idea how I survived without it. This primer gives an absolutely flawless base that makes my make look perfect yet natural. A small bit goes a long way and it truly helps my makeup stay on all day.

NARS Blush in Orgasm
This blush is perfect for an everyday look. The light wash of pink color and small shimmers give a beautiful youthful dewey look.
Urban Decay Dew Me Moisturizing Makeup Setting-Spray
I've always loved UD's setting-sprays. I used to use the all nighter spray but when that ran out I thought I would try this one out to give me that extra dewey finish that I've been looking for. This product is absolutely amazing. All it takes is a few sprays all over you're face and your makeup stays all day long looking just as fresh as it did when it was first applied. It also gives a beautiful glow and moisturizes the face. This is perfect especially if your skin gets a little drier in the winter seasons like mine.

Hope everyone had a great January!!
